Laura Leduc, PhD

Laura Leduc is based in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. She earned her PhD in Business Administration from the University of Iowa. In the PhD program she specialized in human resource (HR) management and organizational behavior (OB). She has subsequently taught HR and OB courses and topics for more than 15 years at James Madison University, and has been providing human resource management consulting part-time for much of that time. She has also worked in management roles for over eight years in three different organizations. She has a passion for helping organizations engage in more effective management of people!
Laura also conducts research on how personality impacts motivation, performance, and decision making in organizations. Her work has been published in a wide range of journals, including the Academy of Management Learning & Education journal, the Annual Review of Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behavior, and Personality and Social Psychology Review.
